maniNO – Manual gas blender for nitric oxide

The maniNO blender is designed to provide patients with a gas mixture of oxygen (O2) and nitric oxide (NO). It stands out for its ease of use and precise NO administration. It is suitable for use in manual ventilation and can be used both in transport settings and within an MRI environment.

The dosing range of the maniNO is continuously adjustable from 0-40 ppm with a continuously adjustable total flow of 0-15 l/min.

With a special transport mount, the maniNO the requirements of DIN EN 1789 for transport in ambulances.

The maniNO is also used for diagnostics in the cardiac catheterization lab when testing reactivity to nitric oxide (NO). During this procedure, nitric oxide is administered via the maniNO for a short period, and its effects are documented and interpreted based on the available measurements. This allows determination of whether the patient is suitable for planned post-operative iNO therapy (see NO-A).
